The Pound Historical Society and the Wise County/City of Norton Community Remembrance Project are sponsoring an unveiling and dedication of the marker for the lynching of Leonard Woods on Saturday October 16 at 11:00 at Pound Gap--the border of Kentucky and Virginia. The event has been supported by Christ Church and All Saints as part of our work on Becoming Beloved Community.
*Fall Mission Day
Fall Mission Day is on Saturday, Oct. 30 at St. John's, Roanoke from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Clergy delegates and elected lay delegates and lay alternates to Diocesan Convention 2022 are expected to attend. Guests are also welcome.
Boxed lunches are available for purchase for those that pre-register. If you plan to attend, please click here for more information & to register.

If your parish has not submitted the Certificate of Election for Convention 2022 or any other parish reports (e.g. Vestry Oath, Vestry Officers Report, etc.), please turn them in ASAP so we can complete our contact rosters for the fall convocation meetings. If you need to check on the status of any parish reports, please email Elizabeth Bishop.

October 10th, I will be at All Saints at 11:15 am and Christ Church at 4:00 pm.
October 17th, I will be at Stras at 11:00 am and St Mark’s at 5:00 pm.
October 24st, I will be a Christ Church at 10:00 am and All Saints at 5:00 pm.
October 31st, We will all be at Stras for an 11:00 am service if COVID numbers allow. If COVID numbers are too high, we will have Morning Prayer at all parishes.
