- Becoming Beloved Community
The Pound Historical Society and the Wise County/City of Norton Community Remembrance Project are sponsoring an unveiling and dedication of the marker for the lynching of Leonard Woods on Saturday October 16 at 11:00 at Pound Gap--the border of Kentucky and Virginia. The event has been supported by Christ Church and All Saints as part of our work on Becoming Beloved Community.
*Fall Mission Day
Fall Mission Day is on Saturday, Oct. 30 at St. John's, Roanoke from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Clergy delegates and elected lay delegates and lay alternates to Diocesan Convention 2022 are expected to attend. Guests are also welcome.

*FYE at Claytor Nature Center - Register now!
Registration is OPEN for our single-day, Fall Youth Event (FYE) at Claytor Nature Center in Bedford, VA on Sunday, Nov. 14. The day will include a hike, outdoor worship, and time to gather in small groups. We are excited to offer this gathering for ALL diocesan middle and high school youth. A separate email with more details about the event is forthcoming!

My Way of Love for Small Groups is intended for participants who wish to receive some guidance about ways to grow spiritually—deepening our love of God and neighbor. This program can be used for individual study or small group study with full details available on The Episcopal Church website.

If your parish has not submitted the Certificate of Election for Convention 2022 or any other parish reports (e.g. Vestry Oath, Vestry Officers Report, etc.), please turn them in ASAP so we can complete our contact rosters for the fall convocation meetings. The 2022 VPG Commitment Forms were sent via email on Oct. 4 to rectors, senior wardens, treasurers, and parish administrators. Please return your signed form to us either electronically via email or by mail to PO Box 2279, Roanoke, VA 24009. If you did not receive your VPG form or need another copy, email admin@dioswva.org.
