Fall Mission Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30 at St. John's, Roanoke. Clergy and Elected Delegates are expected to attend, so please mark your calendars. We will have additional information available soon.
*Clergy Overnight - Mark Your Calendars
Clergy, please save the date for the annual Clergy Overnight on Tuesday, October 12th, and Wednesday, October 13th. Additional details to come.
*Safeguarding God's People Zoom Training
We will offer a Safeguarding God's People training via Zoom on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 7-9 p.m. Please click on the registration link below to sign up and receive your unique Zoom link. If your parish has not submitted the Certificate of Election for Convention 2022 or any other parish reports (e.g. Vestry Oath, Vestry Officers Report, etc.), please turn them in ASAP so we can complete our contact rosters for the fall convocation meetings.

*Fall Youth Pilgrimage - Save the Date
Mark your calendars Oct. 8-10 for The Black Experience in Appalachia: A Youth Pilgrimage. All diocesan middle and high school youth are invited to share in a weekend of racial justice and reconciliation work. More details are forthcoming.

- Digital Evangelism: New Ministry Launch
DioSWVA's new Digital Mission Team (DMT) is launching a diocesan-wide digital evangelism effort this summer. Distinct from the Diocesan Tech Team, which is focused on live-streaming and audio/video ministries, the DMT will resource parish efforts geared toward creating, updating, and advancing social media and websites. The DMT will offer initial consultations via Zoom starting this month. Please email Mary Alice Mouk to request a consultation.

Middle and high school youth are invited to spend a week at Grace House on the Mountain, August 1-7, in a diocesan-wide youth mission effort. Mission work has been greatly reduced because of the pandemic and our Appalachian neighbors need us. Click the link below for registration details.
