Appalachian Alliance News Letter February 28th, 2022
Almighty God, who inspired your servant Anna Julia Haywood Cooper with the love of learning and the skill of teaching: Enlighten us more and more through the discipline of learning, and deepen our commitment to the education of all your children; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Diocesan Lenten Program - The Practice of Prayer
Join us Wednesday nights in Lent from 7-8 p.m. on Zoom for The Practice of Prayer series. All are invited whether you have never prayed outside of worship, are a lifelong person of prayer, or are somewhere in between. We will talk about what prayer is, why we do it, different types of prayer, and tools to help us pray.
You will experience and engage in a variety of types of prayer, and guest speakers will guide us in some of these practices. We will end each evening with Compline. Join us for this Lenten series as we reboot our prayer lives and practices for our faith journey as we make our way to walk with Jesus through Holy Week.
