O God, you have taken to yourself the blessed Virgin Mary, mother of your incarnate Son: Grant that we, who have been redeemed by his blood, may share with her the glory of your eternal kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. -Saturday, I am requesting volunteers to meet at All Saints parish hall in the morning to help sort and prepare the clothing for the homeless shelters and collection locations in Kentucky. If you have any questions, please let me know.
We will have Morning and Evening Prayer via FaceBook live at 6 am and 9 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The services will be on the group page for The Appalachian Alliance of Episcopal Parishes. It is an open group, and if I have not sent an invitation to you, please feel free to join. (I am still having internet problems, but will try each day to have MP and EP).
Safeguarding God's Children training will be offered online via Zoom on Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 10 from 7-9 p.m. Teachers, youth leaders, and others working with children and youth must have this certification renewed every three years in accordance with diocesan policies.
