Appalachian Alliance News Letter - April 4, 2022

Rev. John Church April 04, 2022

Appalachian Alliance News Letter April 4th, 2022

Almighty God, by the hand of Moses your servant you led your people out of slavery, and made them free at last: Grant that your Church, following the example of your prophet Martin Luther King, may resist oppression in the name of your love, and may strive to secure for all your children the blessed liberty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Embracing Evangelism Trial

Is your church interested in learning more about Embracing Evangelism, a six-part digital course exploring our call to seek, name, and celebrate Jesus' loving presence in the stories of all people?

Canon Jenni Faires and Sharon White, Program Director at Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington, are looking for 4-5 clergy, staff, or lay leaders interested in joining a fast-paced cohort to test run the curriculum. We will meet twice per week for 3 weeks on Zoom in April (no meetings during Holy Week). Dates are to be set once we determine the availability of participants.
